Question by Alook: which graphic design software should I learn as an online marketing manager?
I am an online marketing manager and I want to be able to know a little bit about graphic design and html so I can easily create and edit pages online. I also want to be able to edit graphic images (very basic stuff) and save them in optimal ways for my page. which software should I be learning? photoshop? indesign? studio? dreamweaver? thanks

A thumb for you because you want to expand your knowledge outside your basic subject
I suggest you learn Photoshop for editing images from your digital camera, or free royalty images from websites. More over you must learn Dreamweaver to create simple HTML or CSS, because it is made for people who are not used o in programming language code.
I also believe to have the ability to create good design, you also need to learn a bit about design. What is good and bad design, yet what is the key elements to creating one.

As far as HTML goes, I have been teaching this subject for 5+ years and can highly recommend the following book – if you spend one hour a night with it, you will be very proficient in web design within two weeks
