A truly refreshing and inspiring book! It’s packed with specifics about a how to build your Web business. That’s been the missing ingredient from other Web business and marketing books.
It’s also nice to hear directly from the author who does his own Web design, graphic design, and marketing campaigns. He’s done a great job distilling down the exact essentials to building a business that actually makes money.
I would have loved more Dreamweaver examples. But the overall book is genuinely top-notch excellent for anyone in the Web business that wants to be a successful entrepreneur. Highly, highly recommended! If you’re serous about making money on the Web, this is a must read.

|An Informative Quick Read,
This book was an extremely informative up-to-date quick read. I started working with WordPress a year ago and wish I knew this book or the author existed back then. I do consider myself to be “web fluent” but had never tackled design in past – this is something I used to pay dearly for.
At this point I know all I need to know about designing in WordPress and will be advising anyone that needs to develop an understanding quickly to read this book. I do advise many entrepreneurs on starting a small business that is mainly web-based and this is the best approach that I have read yet. Why spend weeks or months figuring out how-to when you’ll learn the same in an afternoon reading this book?
The information in relation to FB and publishing a blog feed on a FB page was news to me. I’ll be implementing it in the next few days. Now I’m off to sign-up on the author’s website. Great read!

I can highly recommend this book for both the newly started and more established web entrepreneur. It’s action packed with great advice on how to build your own website and how to follow through on your idea and what makes you move and create results. The angle is action based and covers creation of website, traffic creation, use of social media as well as creating marketing material based on his own provocateur project.
Nelson Bates comes across as a very honest and straight forward web entrepreneur and has the experience to back it up. With his experience he explains the benefits of taking action instead of doing too much research. This he does with very clear steps and case studies.
You can expect to become inspired and get a very good overview on how to run your website as well as knowing where further research will be necessary to gain a deeper understanding of the areas mentioned.
