This informative e-book takes you through well thought out ideas and strategies to aid you in generating a substantial income online. I, for one, have been making my living online since 2008, and some of the ideas in this book were one’s I never thought of, or even comprehended as being a way to make money online. But they make so much sense now that I know about them and I’ve already started adding in some of these strategies to my overall business plan.
Overall, I learned a huge amount from this book and I’ve already been telling others in my circle about the ideas in it. There are ways of making money that I did not know about. I have bought more than one book on the subject and I would recommend that you buy this one before any other.

|Helpful and spot on tips,
As someone in this business that the book talks about, I admire some of the tips that other books don’t cover. For example, lots of “gurus” will use crazy claims in their marketing material, which will result in claims of “scammer” and other negative feedback. This book helps you avoid crazy pitfalls, and steers you in the right direction. Grab this book and use it. It’s a must have for a money-makers kindle library.

|Nuts and Bolts,
I tend to read books of this type as a college text with highlighter in hand. The highlighter was not used as much as I thought it would be. A lot of info on what Profit Charts has and can do, but no insight into using it, or perhaps I missed that part because I tend to zone out when the obvious is sort of restated. The book almost goes too far in telling you what every click on tab will show, but I was looking for something to tell me that ‘When you see this, it means … and you should react thus if you are in position A, and counter if you are in Position B.’ This is more of a software guide and not a how to. I was disappointed considering the 4 other stellar reviews.

|Easy read on a complex topic,
This book is a exceptionally well written primer on technical analysis as well as a users manual for ProfitCharts by the author of this charting system and well known professional money manager, Tim Knight. In the book Tim illustrates examples of chart patterns and the use of the tools of ProfitCharts in a careful, systematic fashion. On his on-line blog The Slope of Hope he allows the reader to follow his own use of these tools on his own portfolio of positions in a huge array of common stocks and exchange traded funds. The tools and techniques illustrated can be of use to both the professional money manager as well as the individual who manages his own portfolio of stocks and funds. As he does in the blog he shares his own personal history as an investor and financial instrument developer in a refeshingly open fashion which make him not only an expert but an especially likeable teacher. I have met Tim in person and communicated with him by e-mail as well as follow his postings on a daily basis. He and his book have added to my knowledge and ability to manage my own investments. I am grateful to him and admire his ability to share his knowlege and skills.

|Must have TA book,
As a CMT level 2 candidate, I have had to read tons of literature on technical analysis. And as author Tim Knight mentions in the introduction to this book – a lot of it can get boring and seem a bit impractical(but Magee’s is a classic!).
This book gives a real hands-on approach to charting. And as a prophet chart user myself, the book serves as a great user manual and led me to some tricks I didn’t know of on the software. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to take technical based trading to the next level. I also recommend checking out his blog on Slopeofhope.com, where you can see him post trade ideas as they come, something very rare to come from professional money managers.
