From what I understand, people wrote fake reviews and pushed them to the top of Google for big-money keywords so they could get people to buy an overpriced package of services. That didn’t go over to well with some online marketers. Many people wrote reviews about the bogus reviews and a small war was started. In the end, it turned out that the Site Build It service wasn’t really a scam although it isn’t the best deal in the world. The lesson I took away from that was that the more you stick to good, high-integrity projects, the less likelihood there will be that you’ll get attacked. So, if I were going to give any advice it would have to be that you should look into an Internet project before you agree to participate as a writer.
